On the afternoon of September 12th, 2014, the Oil, Gas and Chemical Specialized Committee of Shenzhen Ports Association hold the first workshop in the receiving station of Guangdong Dapeng LNG Terminal. Future working plans and arrangements of the Committee were discussed during the workshop, and Mr. Patrick Lam, Mr. Yao Jiping, Mr. Jiang Yansheng and other Association Leaders and 20 other representatives from the Association members attended the workshop. And Mr. Feng Haidong, Principal Staff Member of the Port, Shipping and Freight Transportation Bureau of Shenzhen Transport Commission, and Mr. Chen Jiayong, Deputy Station Master of Shenzhen Port Pilot Station, were also invited to join the workshop.

The workshop was hosted by Mr. Yao Jiping, Vice President of the Association, Director of the Oil, Gas and Chemical Specialized Committee and Vice President of Guangdong Dapeng LNG Company Ltd. , and future working plans and arrangements of the Committee were discussed in the workshop. Mr. Guo Xvming, Deputy Secretary General of the Association, made working report on the plans of the Committee.

The Oil, Gas and Chemical Specialized Committee was a new subcommittee that established on the First session of the Eighth Member Council this year, and its members included the oil, gas and chemical terminal companies of Shenzhen Port. During the workshop, Mr. Patrick Lam, the Association President and Mr. Jiang Yansheng, the Secretary General, gave their speech, indicating that members of the committee should fully utilize this specialized committee as a platform, to carry out their work in providing services to the industry and members, to reinforce the self-discipline of the industry, and maintain the rights of members, and to launch researches on dangerous cargo transportation and industry standards, so as to secure the energy development of Shenzhen Port.

Mr. Feng Haidong, Principal Staff Member of the Port, Shipping and Freight Transportation Bureau of Shenzhen Transport Commission, and Mr. Chen Jiayong, Deputy Station Master of Shenzhen Port Pilot Station, also congratulate the establishment of the committee and gave full credits to their future working plans. In the future, they agreed to reinforce the communications with the committee, and build a service platform for the companies together, so as to provide support to the favorable development of the oil, gas and chemical terminals in Shenzhen Port.

After the workshop, all attendees visited the receiving point and central control room of Guangdong Dapeng LNG Terminal.
