Shenzhen, China (November 3, 2015) –  Mr. Ma Xingrui, the Party Secretary of Shenzhen Municipal Government, paid a visit to DaChan Bay Terminals (the Terminal) and received progress update on the newly constructed Vehicle Import Port within the Terminal. This New Vehicle Import Port project was approved by the State Council and the Terminal has put into substantive resources in driving the project, under the guidance of the Municipal Government and Shenzhen Customs and CIQ. The initial inspection of the project is expected to be completed in mid November and the first shipment of imported vehicles to arrive in end November.

Accompanying Party Secretary Ma Xingrui during the entire visit were Mr. Guo Yonghang  of Shenzhen Municipal Government, Director Wang Keguang of Shenzhen Customs, Deputy Director Zhong Wenqiang of Shenzhen Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau (CIQ), Director Wang Hongbin of Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission, Deputy Director Gao Lin of Economy, Trade and Information Commission of Shenzhen Municipality, Director Ren Guoming of Shenzhen Port Administration, and Party Secretary Huang Min of Bao An District Government.

Mr. Horace Lo, Member of the DaChan Bay Terminals' Board of Directors and Modern Terminals' Chief Development Officer and Director of Engineering, Mr. Benjamin Lai, Managing Director of DaChan Bay Terminals, provided progress update to Party Secretary Ma on site.

Party Secretary Ma found the progress of New Vehicle Import Port project satisfactory. He encouraged the Terminal to strive for continuous enhancement of the surrounding environment and supporting infrastructure, laying a solid foundation for long term development. He also encouraged the Terminal to tap the full potential of New Vehicle Import Port to contribute to the foreign trade development of Shenzhen and the entire Nation. Director Wang Keguang and Deputy Director Zhong Wenqiang said that they would render full support to the development and inspection of DaChan Bay New Vehicle Import Port as well as all the follow up work on future business development.
